Life has this beautiful, sometimes terrifying way of presenting us with moments that stop us in our tracks. You know the ones I’m talking about those crossroads where your heart pounds a little faster, your palms get sweaty and that little voice whispers, “Are you really going to do this?“ At some point in our lives, each one of us will encounter situations that demand that we step out of our comfort zones and face the unknown. These are what I like to call “testing points” - those pivotal moments where we either rise to the challenge or shrink away, potentially eroding the confidence we’ve probably been working so hard to build. These moments may feel daunting, but they are also opportunities for growth, reflection, and transformation. Here’s what I’ve learned about these testing points: they’re not punishments or cruel tricks from the universe. They are invitations. Think of them as life‘s way of asking, “Hey, are you ready to become who you’re meant to be?“ Maybe it’s speaking up at that important meeting, having a difficult conversation with your teenager, or finally pursuing that dream you’ve been nurturing in secret. Whatever form they take, these moments are precious gifts wrapped in fear and uncertainty. The magic happens when we lean into discomfort instead of running from it. Each time we choose courage over comfort, we’re not just conquering the moment we’re building our resilience muscle in a way that will serve us for years to come. Remember, every single person you admire, has faced their own testing points. The difference? They decided to show up anyway, imperfect and scared, but beautifully, courageously present. When your next testing point comes, will you greet it as an enemy or embrace it as a teacher? I pray that you won’t shy away, but rather that you charge forward and claim the transformation point, life is offering you. You can do it!
