August 18, 2025 Finding Yourself: The Beautiful Journey of Not Knowing Who You Are
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born, and the day you find out why.” —Mark Twain

Hey there, beautiful soul! 🌟
Ever have one of those moments where you look in the mirror and think, "Who even am I?" Maybe you're sitting in your car after dropping the kids off, or lying in bed at night, and this big question just hits you like a gentle wave.
Here's the thing - that feeling isn't something to be scared of. It's actually pretty amazing when you think about it!
You're Not Lost - You're On An Adventure
When you don't know who you are, it means you're growing. It means you're not stuck in some boring box that someone else built for you years ago. You're like a butterfly getting ready to spread brand new wings, and that's absolutely beautiful.
Think about it this way: if you knew everything about yourself already, where would the fun be? Life would be like reading the same book over and over. But not knowing? That's like opening a mystery novel where you're both the detective AND the treasure you're searching for.
You don't need to figure out your whole life today. Nobody expects you to wake up tomorrow with all the answers written on your forehead (though wouldn't that be convenient?).
Instead, try this: pay attention to what makes you smile. What makes your heart do a little happy dance? Maybe it's the smell of fresh coffee, helping a friend, or watching funny videos with your family. These little moments are clues to who you're becoming.
You should follow your curiosity like breadcrumbs.
Remember being a kid and getting excited about everything? That curiosity is still inside you, just waiting for permission to come out and play.
Try something new this week. Take a different route home. Call that friend you've been thinking about. Sign up for that class. Paint with your fingers. Dance in your kitchen. Your soul knows things your brain hasn't figured out yet.
So here's my beautiful question for you, friend: Who are you becoming, and how does that feel in your heart? Not knowing who you are isn't a problem to solve - it's a gift to unwrap, slowly and with joy. You're not behind in life. You're exactly where you need to be, rediscovering the wonderful, one-of-a-kind person you were always meant to become.
Trust the journey. Trust yourself.
